The Some Good News (SGN) event will kick off with opening remarks from Juan Carlos Cruz, Co-founder & Visionary of Real Estate IQ, followed by the initial panel introduction by Becky Kromminga, REIQ’s Director of Growth for REIQ’s Houston Operations. The said event would consist of five panels that would go on through different real estate topics and ideas which can help you to improve and strengthen your investing skills.
The first panel, which will go on from 6:45 pm - 7:15 pm, will start with different well-known real estate investors and advisers Sean Schoenmakers, who is an active coach engaged in a business coaching firm that works with small business owners to make more money, reduce their working hours, and improve their teams. He will talk about the difference between improving your net worth versus improving your cash flow in the business. Next is Steve Vigil, President of The Wealth Club, who will talk about “Selling your Deals Owner Finance”. He’s followed by Karishma Makhani, a Business Success Coach and a Real Estate Investor based in Dallas, as she talks about “The Importance of Psychology in being a Successful Investor”.
It would be followed by the second panel at 7:15 pm - 7:45 pm, which will focus on discussing Foreclosure and Auctions, starting with Kevin Krommingga, who has a degree in MA Counselling and MA Administration and a notable real estate investor at REIQ. He’s going to discuss the “Foreclosure Market: Forgiveness vs. Forbearance”. Followed by Rodney Rush, REIQ’s Dallas Fort-Worth Business Developer, as he talks about the number of postponed foreclosures. Next would be Arnie Abramson, an active real estate investor at Texas Tax Sales Resource Group LLC. She will talk about the Tax Foreclosure Sales in Texas. Last but definitely not least for this panel is Augie Bylott, a nationally recognized author, trainer, coach, and speaker who teaches creative real estate investing. He is the CEO and founder of creating wealth the USA and he will talk about “Composure in Foreclosure: Helping Families facing Foreclosure through Real Estate Investing”
The third panel at 7:45 pm - 8:15 pm, will focus on talking about Funding and will start up with Rick Stegall (insert info here), followed by Tom Berry, Founder and Principal Owner of Tom Berry REI, Edgewater Property Management, Galco Properties, and Partner and Co-founder of Investor Loan Source, who will talk about “Funding for Hard to Fund Deals”. He will be followed by Martin Chera, the President of Express Capital Financing, and Max Chera, a Real Estate Investment Expert who started at the young age of 21 when he already owned his own brokerage in Brooklyn doing Sales and Leases all over South Brooklyn. They will show you how you can find deals and funding to kick off your Real Estate investing success in 2021.
The fourth panel at 8:15 pm - 8:45 pm, which will emphasize more on IRA and Tax, will be starting with Michael Plaks, also known as "the Black Belt in Real Estate Taxation." He will talk about Biden's Tax plan and see if we should be worried about it. Derreck Long handles all questions about Self-Directed IRAs and investment options for clients and prospects. He also establishes business relationships with like-minded companies.Next up is Lisa Rodriguez, who spent the majority of her professional career in the insurance industry, and she will talk about “Tax-Free Real Estate Investing”.
The fifth and last panel, which will go on from 8:45 pm - 9:15 pm, will focus on Passive Investing, and will start with Steve Liang, Co-founder, and CEO of Real Estate IQ, as he discusses the REIQ Passive Investments Platform. Lastly would be Eddie Speed, who has dedicated his life to the note industry and to expand the benefits of creative seller financing for both sellers and buyers, as he talks about “The most motivated property sellers in years. Who are they and how can you solve their problem!”
